In line with its focus on the digitalization and security of its clients' e-banking transactions, ATLANTICO is the first bank with VISA card processing in Angola to obtain the "Verified by Visa" security certification awarded by VISA, responsible for a payment network that operates more than 100 billion transactions per year. Through the free adhesion to this service made available by ATLANTICO to its Clients, the transactions made with VISA cards through the internet are more secure, in the sense that any payment made in an online store also adhering to this security protocol, will require a certification password sent by the Bank to the Client via SMS, significantly reducing the possibilities of fraud with this international means of payment. This is yet another step by ATLANTICO towards the dematerialization and security of the products made available to its more than 1.2 million Customers.
