IFC AVAILS ATLANTICO CREDIT LINE TO FINANCE ANGOLIAN SMEs

The IFC's Executive Committee has approved a USD 100M credit line for ATLANTICO to support small and medium-sized Angolan companies.

Luanda, April 08, 2019 - The International Finance Corporation ("IFC") - Member of the World Bank Group and the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in developing countries - has approved a credit line for ATLANTICO in the amount of USD 50M, to finance, in Angola, small and medium enterprises projects. The duration of this credit line is five years.

A Trade Finance line was also approved under IFC's Global Trade Finance Program for USD 50M.

Daniel Santos,President of ATLANTICO's Executive Committee, is pleased with the achievement of this new milestone. "The approval of this credit line represents for ATLANTICO international recognition, from a relevant and considered institution in the financial world that belongs to the World Bank Group, of ATLANTICO's strong positioning as an investment partner in Angola and of its competence and capacity to support the national business community and its projects in the process of diversifying the country's economy and development,", emphasizes this responsible person.

Atlantic continues, in this way and with the support of international partners, to boost the development of new business projects in Angola and to contribute to the support of the national business community, namely small and medium enterprises.
