BANCO MILLENNIUM ATLANTICO LAUNCHES FIRST SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

Banco Millennium Atlântico presents its Sustainability Report for the 2023 financial year.

Luanda, May 30, 2024 - Banco Millennium Atlântico announces the launch of its Sustainability Report for the 2023 financial year. This decision reflects ATLANTICO's ongoing commitment to sustainability and continued alignment with international best practices and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The 2023 Sustainability Report details the initiatives and results achieved by ATLANTICO in the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) dimensions, highlighting the actions implemented to promote a positive impact on both the communities where it operates and the environment.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors, António Assis de Almeida, stresses the importance of this publication: "We are pleased to share the results achieved in the year now ended, as well as the thoughts and guidelines that guide us in transforming lives, towards a more sustainable future for all."

This document highlights two environmental actions: the definition of environmental criteria in ATLANTICO's operations and the promotion of environmental literacy and awareness programs.

On the social front, the highlights include the promotion of financial inclusion and social transformation programs, including the *400# Agiliza payment system, which has surpassed one million users, and the recognition

With regard to governance, we highlight the implementation of a robust governance model that integrates ethical principles and responsible business, and the partnership with the IFC (International Finance Corporation) to implement the Environmental and Social Management System (SGAS).

he Sustainability Report of ATLANTICO takes on two important commitments for the immediate future: to honor its adherence to the United Nations Global Compact and its commitment to the ten fundamental principles in areas such as human rights, decent work, environmental protection, and the fight against corruption. The Bank also plans to continue publishing quarterly research articles on sustainability issues, in order to help increase literacy and knowledge on these matters.

Looking to the future, the Chairman of the Executive Board, Miguel Raposo Alves, recalls: "We are committed to continuing our journey towards the sustainability, and to presenting our first sustainability strategy for the 2024 to 2028 period. This plan will be accompanied by the publication of our first Sustainability Report in 2025, covering the 2024 financial year, in line with the best international reporting practices."
